This tool displays the CPU usage of all the tasks in memory (It does
the same as 'XOper' between two Gurus :-)
In the first line, the usage of the CPU by all tasks is displayed.
The other lines show the CPU-usage of each task.
The tasks are sorted by the CPU-usage.
PerfMonitor checks for 7 seconds the usage and displayes the
data after that.
Therefore the displayed usage may be not up to date everytime, but helps
a little bit finding out the tasks using most CPU-time.
It's also possible that it needs this 7 seconds for PerfMonitor to
quit when clicking the close gadget of its window.
The ready tasks (take the most CPU-time) are displayed in a different
color to find them easier.
PerfMonitor was tested on an Amiga 500 under Kickstart 1.3 and 2.04 .
It should run fine with every configuration.
If you find errors on your machine: Mail and eMail address see above.
This program is not shareware, but if you use it often, I think a little
gift (US $7 or 10DM) to the programmer (me) would be a nice thing.
Have fun
---Tom
P.S. Many thanks to Fridtjof Siebert for his great Oberon compiler
and for showing me how to realize this via an interrupt-routine.
